Part One of the interview Star and Bucwild did with Combat Jack!

Reggie Osse, also known as Combat Jack, is a former hip hop music attorney and executive. He currently is the managing editor of The Source and radio host of the Combat Jack show on PNC radio.

Osse graduated from Cornell University in 1986. He became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. there by way of the Kappa Xi chapter. He later received his law degree fromGeorgetown University Law Center. He has represented hip-hop producers and entertainers, such as DJ Clark KentNice & SmoothDeric "D. Dot" AngelettieSki Beats, and others, notably in the Legal Affairs for Def Jam records (1989).

After 12 years of practicing law in the music industry, he retired and wrote Bling, a book documenting hip-hop's history and fascination with Jewelry. He also served as the Vice President of Audio/Music DVD at MTV Networks.

Osse has blogged for byroncrawford.com, ihiphop.com, xxlmag.com, and his own site - daily-math.com. He began hosting The Combat Jack show (with Dallas Penn, Premium Pete, DJ Benhameen, and AKing) in August 2010.

In early 2011, Reggie Osse accepted the position as an editor for The Source.

Star & Buc Wild made the national stage on MTV (1999) but it was their radio show on New York’s Hot 97 (2000 – 2003) that secured their place in Hip-Hop history.
