In 2005 the lost art of battle rap was slowing making it's way back to the forefront of Hip Hop.

Battle rap was considered a male dominated sport and most fans couldn't imagine a woman engaging in a rough verbal exchange assuming they where too sensitive.

Fast forward to the year 2010. Ironically two men who started Queen of the Ring (Vague & Debo) were running a battle league called "King of the Ring."

Both Debo & Vague soon thought it would be even better to do a female league, thus "Queen of the Ring" was born -- the 1st of it's kind.

QOTR was becoming popular in the battle circuit with fresh names on the rise such as E. Hart, Phara
Funeral, Don Ladyii, QB, Norma Bayts, JaZ the Rapper, K Prophet etc.

Still, the two owners felt it could use another owner with a female touch -- enter BaBs Bunny.

Most people know BaBs from MTV (Making the Band) fame.

BaBs was a perfect fit due to her knowing the rigors of up & coming artist and her own experience in the entertainment game.

In the two years of its existence, QOTR has now built a power house brand -- matched by none.

As the culture continues to grow, fans show endless support as Vague, Babs and Debo change the game of battle rap.
