BLES was born in Guyana and raised in the East Flatbush side of Brooklyn, called the 90’s.
At the young age of 7, he fell in love with hip-hop music.
He went from writing rhymes in a small apartment to hanging out on the street corners.
Being a product of his environment, he was exposed to the gang life style that was uprising in Brooklyn around the mid-90s’.
After being the focal point of numerous life altering situations, his mom begged him to change his life.
He applied for college and was accepted to Morgan State University.
BLES not only pursued his education but also continued to work on his passion for music.
Through out college, he was featured on multiple mixtapes from popular DJ’s like Dirty Harry, DNA, Radio and Lil Mic.
He performed in many venues spanning from the DMV area to New York City. He has opened up for artists such as Baby Cham, Memphis Bleek and the Lox, just to name a few.
He was also featured on Maryland’s base 92.Q’s Buttaman and Baby Sam’s Rap Attack.
Pursuing music impacted his grades so he placed it on the back burner to complete his education.
Now that he has graduated, his passion for music burns even brighter.
Recently, he was featured on DJ Doo Wop’s Underground mixtape series Bridging the Gap and Coast-to-Coast.
