Police officers in Southfield, Michigan have reportedly shot a suspected serial rapist in the groin twice!

The suspect is accused of meeting young women on the internet, meeting up with them and sexually assualting them.

Police started a sting operation to catch him and on Tuesday night they did just that!

When the suspect showed up to the location they set up police were waiting to arrest him but he pulled out a gun which led to him being popped twice in the groin area aka that D!

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. -Police have reportedly shot someone at Park Grove in Detroit.

Detroit Police Department’s Headquarter Surveillance team was undergoing a sting operation, watching a 29-year old male.

He was suspected of talking to young women on the internet, arranging face-to-face meetings, and then sexually assaulting them.

Tuesday night, the suspect thought he was meeting up with some strippers at a house on the 15000 block of Park Grove.

Instead, undercover officers were waiting for him.

And when those officers went to arrest him, he pulled out a gun.

That’s when police pulled their weapons, and reportedly shot the man twice in the groin. 

He was taken to the hospital, and is listed in stable condition.

Police have also recovered his weapon.

A second young man was also taken into custody at the scene, although his role is unclear at this time.
